Realtor Who Killed Her Father, His Girlfriend In Jersey Shore Home Sentenced: Prosecutors
A Pennsylvania realtor convicted of killing her father and his girlfriend on the Jersey Shore will spend the rest of her life in state prison, authorities said.
Sherry Lee Heffernan, 57, of Landenberg, PA, received two life sentences on Friday, May 10, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced in a news release. After a four-week trial, a jury found her guilty of two murder charges on Friday, Mar. 1.
Prosecutors said Heffernan killed 87-year-old John Enders of Surf City and 75-year-old Francoise Pitoy of Manchester back in September 2021.

A Cape May County man was accused of having methamphetamine, a BB gun, and burglary tools, authorities said.
Alexander Hudson, 30, of Wildwood Crest, was arrested at around 3:29 p.m. on Friday, May 3. The Wildwood Crest Police Department announced his arrest in a news release on Friday, May 10.

Many coastal areas of New Jersey are under the threat of moderate flooding during high tides over the weekend, forecasters said.
The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood warning on Friday, May 10 for coastal parts of Atlantic, Burlington, Cape May, Cumberland, and Ocean counties. A coastal flood advisory was issued for oceanfront areas of Middlesex and Monmouth counties, as well as bayfront and riverfront parts of Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Salem counties.
