Gerardo 'Jerry' Conte, 79, Lodi Resident
LODI, N.J. -- Gerardo "Jerry" Conte, of Lodi, died on Sunday, March 19. He was 79.
Born in Palomonte, Salerno, Italy, Conte immigrated to the United States when he was 18 years old. He lived in Garfield for 17 years and Passaic Park for eight, before moving to Lodi 36 years ago.
He was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, a member of the San Pio Prayer Group in Garfield and a member of the Italian American Forum of Lodi. He was a mason all of his life, working with the Laborers Union Local 325 in Jersey City.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Ann M. (Randazzo) DelGreco, of Washington Township, died on Sunday, March 19. She was 78.
DelGreco was a manager at Western Union in Buckley’s Drug Store in Englewood for many years. Prior to that, she worked in the collections department at Simplicity Patterns in New York City.
She was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Washington Township.
DelGreco is survived by her husband of 57 years, Anthony, and her children, Michael and his wife Patricia of Woodland Park, and Terri Smith and her husband Charles of Ballston Lake.

LYNDHURST, N.J. – Rose M. (Episcopo) Calo – a Verona resident, previously of Lyndhurst – died on Wednesday, March 15. She was 94.
Calo had lived in Lyndhurst for more than five decades.
"She loved life and ballroom dancing with her beloved husband Mario," information from the funeral home noted.

NORTHVALE, N.J. -- Richard J. Viale Jr., of Northvale, died on Saturday, March 18. He was 67.
A Martine veteran of the Vietnam War, Viale was past commander of Norwood American Legion Post 272.

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Edward Burr Miller Sr., of Englewood, died on Monday, March 13. He was 85.
Raised in Englewood, Miller served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He retired in 1995, after a long career with Lever Brothers Company.
