Weston Memorial Day Weekend Race Planned For May 24 WESTON, Conn. -- The 21st Annual Weston Memorial Day Weekend 5K Race is scheduled this year for Saturday, May 24, at 8:30 a.m. The race, which is the Weston High School PTO’s largest fund-raiser, is open to walkers and runners of all ages and all levels.  Advance registration, which closes on Friday, May 23, is $25. The PTO also sponsors a Kids Fun Run, starting at 8 a.m. on the day of the race at the high school's varsity track. Norwalk's Cundari Named Northeast-10 Pitcher Of The Year NORWALK, Conn. – Norwalk’s Rocco Cundari, a senior from Southern Connecticut State University, was named the Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Year by the league’s head coaches. Cundari went 5-2 with a 0.85 ERA during the regular season for Southern Connecticut, which won the Southwest Division title. He struck out 63 batters and walked 15 in 11 games, including nine starts.
