Antelope On The Lam After Busting Out Of Mass Zoo An Eland Antelope — possibly seeking a life on the range — escaped a Hampden County zoo and remains at large. Wildlife officials have asked the public to be on the lookout for the horned herbivore. The antelope escaped Lupa Zoo in Ludlow last week, and so far, efforts to bring her back have failed. Missing Teen: Police Ask For Public's Help To Find Central Mass Girl Police in Worcester County have asked the public to help detectives find a missing 16-year-old girl who hasn't been seen for days. Naiushka Vasquez-Santiago disappeared from her Fitchburg apartment on Sunday, April 2. She may be traveling with her ex-boyfriend Blake Meija Cedillos, police said. Man Used Stolen ID To Live Rent-Free In Lynn Apartment For Nearly Year: Feds A 36-year-old Lynn man is accused of stealing a person's identity to rent an apartment and then never paying rent, federal authorities said. Steeve Jean faces charges of wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, and unauthorized use of a Social Security number, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. Police Investigating Afternoon Shooting In Western Mass Police in Hampden County are investigating a shooting in broad daylight on Monday, March 30. Springfield police were called to an area near the intersection of Cornell and Harvard streets just after 5 p.m. to reports of a shooting. They found a man on the ground with a bullet wound. Paramedics took the victim to Baystate Medical Center for treatment, and his injuries are considered not life-threatening, Springfield police said. Detectives are investigating the incident.
