(Update) Man Killed His Roommate In Saugus: Police A man in Saugus is accused of killing his housemate after police found his body early Friday morning, July 7, authorities said. George Finley, age 64, is accused of murdering 37-year-old Joshua Thomson in a house their shared at 315 Essex Street in Saugus, the Essex County District Attorney said. A police spokesperson said they received a call around 6:30 a.m. of an "unattended death," but prosecutors changed that determination to homicide after detectives and medical examiners investigated the scene. Finley will be arraigned on Monday.

Shoplifter Punches Cambridge Clerk In Face To Get Away: Police A shoplifter attacked a store clerk in Cambridge Thursday, July 6, when she confronted them as they tried to leave the Harvard Square store, authorities said. Muscle Car Muscles Its Way Through Mass Home Overnight The driver of a Chevrolet Camaro that crashed into a home in Plymouth County was sent to the hospital after they drove the car through a home overnight. Do You Know Him?: Western Mass Cops Release Photos Of Man Possibly Linked To Shooting Police in Hampden County are asking the public for help to find a man caught on surveillance cameras that police believe may have information about a shooting last week. The shooting happened on June 30 near Chicopee and Prospect Streets. Investigators did not release any information on the victims. Despite the poor quality of the photos, Chicopee police released the images in the hopes that it would generate tips to track the man down. Grim Anniversary: Mass Police Hope To Find Answers In 50-Year-Old Slaying Police have renewed their call for information on the death of a teenage girl whose body was found in Essex County 50 years ago this week. Judith (Merenda) Cadorette, age 19, was found in Andover near the ramp from Route 93 South to Route 133 West on July 6, 1973, Massachusetts State police said.
