'Shcool' Zone: Central Mass Town Promises To Fix Misspelled Street Sign A contractor may have needed to spend more time in "shcool" after they inadvertently misspelled school on a giant road sign in Worcester County. Holden officials said the mistake happened two weeks ago on Holden Road near Mountainview School. They hope to fix it when the weather improves. That will likely be a few days, they said. 'Huffing' Woman Caused Car Explosion In Central Mass: Police Fire investigators in Worcester County believe a car explosion over the weekend was caused by a woman huffing cans of compressed air inside the vehicle to get high. The explosion happened on Saturday, July 22, near Walmart in Sturbridge at 110 Charlton Road. Fire crews were called when an explosion blew the windows out of a Toyota Corolla and dislodged the doors. Cars parked nearby were also damaged. She died on Saturday, July 22, of stage IV colon cancer. Now the community she taught wants to help provide for her three young children and support their education. Boston Woman Drowns Scuba Diving In Rockport A 40-year-old South Boston woman died over the weekend in Rockport while SCUBA diving with her father, authorities said. Sara Elizabeth Nivens was found late Saturday afternoon, July 22, near the Dry Salvages Rock about two miles northwest of the town, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said.
