Man Stabs 2 During Fight In Worcester: Police Worcester police said they were called to a bloody scene on Sunday morning, Aug. 27, after a disagreement between a group of men turned violent, authorities said. Gage Beauchesne, 32, was arrested following the melee and charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon from the alleged attacks, Worcester police said. $4M Lottery Win: Chicopee Woman Has Big Plans For Her New Cash Realtors and car dealers should expect a call from Brenda Torres Gonzalez soon. The Chicopee woman recently won $4 million in the “100X Cash” instant ticket game, the Massachusetts Lottery announced Friday, Aug. 25. It's the first time someone has won the grand prize in that game. Gonzalez elected to take the lump sum payment of $2.6 million before taxes. Deadly Explosion In Central Mass Blamed On Propane Tank Leak: Fire Investigators After months of review, arson investigators have blamed a propane tank leak on an explosion that destroyed a home in Worcester County and killed a 79-year-old woman. Central Mass Woman Seriously Hurt In New Hampshire Motorcycle Crash: Police A 32-year-old Worcester County woman was hospitalized on Wednesday, Aug. 23, after she was involved in a truck versus motorcycle crash, police said. Jessica Westover, of Fitchburg, was riding her 2021 Kawasaki ZR900 motorcycle east along Route 31 in Mason, New Hampshire, when she crashed with a Ford F-250 driven by a 55-year-old Mason, NH, man, New Hampshire State Police said. Springfield Man Admits To Rape, Gets 3 Years In Prison: DA A 32-year-old Springfield man told a Hampshire County court this week that he knew the woman he had sex with in 2021 was too drunk to consent, but he proceeded anyway, authorities said.
