Western Mass Man Admits To Sexually Assaulting Child At His Home, Gets 2 Years: DA A 68-year-old Berkshire County man has pleaded to multiple counts of indecent assault on a child younger than 14 years old, authorities announced on Tuesday, Feb. 20.  Lochan Kissoon, of Pittsfield, was sentenced to two years in prison for sexually assaulting a minor in his apartment in June 2021, the Berkshire County District Attorney said.  Kissoon cannot have contact with anyone under the age of 16, and he must register as a sex offender once he's released, authorities said.

2 Injured In Western Mass Blaze Likely Caused By Oxygen Tank Fire investigators believe a fire that injured two people on Monday, Feb. 19, in Hampden County began from a medical oxygen tank.  Firefighters responded to 68 State St. in Ludlow just before 5:30 p.m. to reports of a fire.
