Quincy Man Admits To Writing 100 Bad Checks Worth Over $1M: Feds A Quincy man faces up to 30 years behind bars after he admitted to writing more than 100 bad checks worth more than $1 million, authorities said.  Hui Zhang, 41, pleaded guilty to one count of bank fraud on Friday, March 1, and will be sentenced on May 28, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said.  Prosecutors said Zhang opened multiple bank accounts under fake names from June 2020 through at least May 2022 and deposited 114 counterfeit checks worth more than $1 million into them.
