Field Library Hosts Foster Care Information Session PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Field Library will hold a foster care information session on Jan. 25 and Jan. 27. A representative from the United Way of Westchester and Putnam will provide information to any prospective parents interested in fostering a local kid.  Prospective parents should call 211 for more information on fostering and pre-screening. Stamford Police Seek Suspect In Theft From Car STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford Police are seeking information regarding a theft from a motor vehicle in late December. An unknown suspect stole a duffel bag from an unlocked delivery vehicle at 87 Atlantic St. at 11:02 p.m. Dec. 28. Anyone with information regarding the suspect should contact Sgt. Sean Scanlan at the Stamford Police Department Property Crimes Unit at 203-977-5828.
