Inside Job: Mahwah Buick GMC Dealership Employee Helped Facilitate Burglary, Police Say
Four people have now been arrested for a break-in at a GMC dealership on Route 17 last year, which police say was an inside job.
Ehab Hassan, a 29-year-old employee of the Mahwah dealership facilitated the heist involving Fermin Bautista-Rocha, 49, of Paterson, Bledar Lece, 47, of Clifton, and Shkelzen Murati, of Clifton, Mahwah Police Capt. Michael Blondin said.
At 11:40 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, officers responded to the Mahwah Buick GMC after the fire alarm was activated and saw signs of forced entry, Blondin said.
